I wish I were a star.
All alone and so far.
So that none could own me.
I would be all free.

I would be all alone.
Galaxy would be my home.
I would be far away,
Yet releasing someone’s tray.

I would glitter truly bright.
In dark, I would be light.
I would be atemporal,
Brimful of moral.

I would be someone’s hope,
All night at me who’d glope.
A heart with me I’d tie.
Bestowing respite from swie.

Providing someone with relief,
From the life full of grief.
I wish I were this all.
A glory in such small.
